At the Pennsylvania Educator Diversity Consortium (PEDC), we believe advancing diversity and inclusion in education starts with strong local connections. To meet the unique needs of communities across the Commonwealth, we have created regional hubs that bring together educators, school leaders, administrators, and education advocates. These hubs provide opportunities to collaborate, share resources, and drive meaningful change in Pennsylvania’s education system. Join us to connect, learn, and make a lasting impact.
To tailor our initiatives to the diverse landscapes of Pennsylvania, PEDC has organized the state into six distinct regions. This structure allows us to implement strategies that resonate with the specific needs and aspirations of each area, ensuring our efforts are both relevant and impactful.
Launched in 2022, our Southwest Hub has been a beacon of collaboration, bringing together educators and partners across Mercer, Lawrence, Butler, Beaver, Armstrong, Allegheny, Washington, Greene, Westmoreland, Fayette, and Indiana counties to advance our mission in the region.

In 2024, we expanded our reach by establishing the Southeast Hub, furthering our commitment to supporting educators and fostering diversity In the greater Philadelphia region of Bucks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Delaware, and Chester Counties.

Over the coming years, we plan to roll out additional hubs, ensuring that every region in Pennsylvania has the support and resources needed to cultivate a diverse and culturally responsive educational environment. If you are interested in helping to form a regional hub in your area, please contact us.
Your engagement is vital to our collective success. Here's how you can get involved in your region:
